 Eine Szene aus Nancy Holders Buch zum Fim Wonder Woman (Titan Books, 2017, S. 209) in der die Autorin zum Ende hin offenbar vergass dass sie Steve Trevor bereits zu beginn vom Pferd hat springen lassen:

 

  Veld.
  Steve leaped off his horse and raced toward the bright orange cloud, aware of the death it carried and that Diana was probably already in there. But as he reached the edge of the poison fog he began to hack and cough. Still he stumbled forward.
  Then a dark form took shape in the middle of the cloud, growing more and more distinct as it moved towards him. His heart pounded; he trembled with hope. Let it be her. By some miracle, let her be alright.
  Diana stepped from the smoke, completely unhurt.
  "Diana! Diana!" he shouted, his heart soaring.
  He swung down from the saddle and ran across the field to her. She raised her arm and pointed at him. "Thy're dead! They're all dead!"

  Ein kleiner Buchstabenvertauscher aus Mord im Orientexpress (Scherz, 1990, S. 141) der mich letztens sehr zum Schmunzeln gebracht hat:

  "So, da haben wir die Erklärung dafür, wie unser Mann durch verschlossene Türen zu dringen vermochte," sagte M. Bouc. "Ihre Fragen an Mrs. Hubard waren völlig überflüssig, mon cher. Verschlossen oder nicht verschlossen - der Mann konnte mit Leichtigkeit durch die Verbindungstür gelangen. Wenn schon eine Schlafwagenuniform, warum dann nicht auch ein Hautpschlüssel?"

  In Karen Whiddon's The Widow's Bodyguard (Harlequin, 2021, S. 12) verrutschte der Autorin wohl ein wenig der Finger, und verwandelte "die gleiche sinnliche Anmut" in ein weniger Romantisches "das selbe sinnliche Grab":

  She was still beautiful inside and out, and kind, with a soft, sexy voice and the same sensual grave to her movements.
